AI-generated and informational content

WebChef may generate recipe suggestions, ingredient recommendations, grocery lists, summaries, and other AI-assisted content. This content is provided for general informational and convenience purposes only.

• AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing recipes, ingredients, instructions, substitutions, quantities, and grocery list items before relying on them.
• WebChef does not provide medical, nutritional, allergy, dietary, or food safety advice.
• You are solely responsible for verifying allergens, cooking times, temperatures, food handling, and whether any recipe or suggestion is safe and appropriate for you or anyone you cook for.

User content and shared features

You retain responsibility for content you submit or store in the service, including prompts, recipes, grocery lists, notes, and shared group content. By submitting content, you grant us a limited right to host, process, display, and use that content as needed to operate and improve the service.

If you use collaborative or sharing features, you understand that content you choose to share may be visible to other users you share with. You are responsible for deciding what information to share.

Intellectual property

The service, including its software, branding, design, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to WebChef and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed by these terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WebChef and its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, use, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are also not liable for any injury, illness, allergic reaction, food spoilage, cooking outcome, dietary issue, purchasing decision, user-submitted content, AI-generated output, third-party services, unauthorized access, or service interruption connected to your use of the platform.

If liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, then our total liability for any claim relating to the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WebChefand its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, expenses, and fees arising out of or related to your use of the service, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms, created risk for the service or other users, or if continuing to provide access is no longer commercially or legally practical.
